On the 28th October 2022, Litton obtained planning permission for the development of three new industrial buildings. The proposed development site is located in the centre of Hellaby Industrial Estate, approximately 6.5 miles east of Rotherham. Positioned on Rother Way, the site benefits from easy access to Junction 1 of the M18, which is only 0.7 miles away.
The proposed development boundary encompasses 2.08 acres/0.84 hectares of land and will create 20,500 sq.ft,904m2 of accommodation, split across three divisible units, not including the existing building on site which will be retained.
Unit sizes range from 2,000 sq.ft up to 13,500 sq.ft. with a combined total of 71 parking spaces, including 5 accessible, 6 coach and 4 minibus parking bays.
The scheme has taken into account the desire of an existing tenant to move into a new building both for expansion purposes and to take advantage of a modern energy efficient unit.
