Archaeological Investigations at Riverside Business Park

In preparation for the construction of the new Premier Inn on Riverside Business Park, archaeological investigations are taking place on site. The digging has revealed what is thought to be the remains of the first mill built by Sir Richard Arkwright in the 18th Century!
